Is there any option to set up the 2D camera along the y axis?

Then you’d have a normal view through the camera (z up).

It makes sense e. g. when you insert objects into the footage.

MochaBlend-Blender 1.0.7 now allows you to set not only the orientation of your camera (‘X-Up’ or ‘Y-Up’), but also either ‘Perspective’ or ‘Orthographic’ for the lens.

Currently, you have to parent the camera and created objects to an empty at the Blender world-origin and then rotate the empty 90 degrees on the x-axis.

However, This is a nuisance so I’m setting up the option for either an x-up or y-up camera at the moment;  I’m also adding the option for a ‘Perspective’ camera option also.  These will be in the next MochaBlend-Blender release 1.0.7.  It should be released soon.
